Biz Travel Assistant

Frequently asked questions

The material answers, before you book a call

Restrictions and boundaries are stated here directly — not hidden in fine print. If your question is not covered, the consultation is the place to ask it.

Why pay for this when I already have a PA, travel agent or card concierge?

Biz Travel Assistant is designed to work alongside a capable PA or EA, not replace them. The question is whether travel research, booking administration and change coordination are still consuming time that could be used elsewhere. Your PA or EA retains the principal relationship, priorities, oversight and authority. BTA can take on the travel legwork: researching suitable options, comparing the practical trade-offs, completing approved bookings, coordinating connected arrangements and managing agreed changes when plans move. A good travel agent, TMC or card concierge may already cover some of this. BTA is most relevant where you want a continuing human travel relationship that works with the business context around the trip and removes meaningful administration from the traveller or assistant. If your current arrangement already does all of that exceptionally well, the consultation is the right place to determine whether BTA adds enough value to justify membership.

Is this a human service or automation?

A person reads your request, interprets the context and prepares the options. You receive a considered recommendation, then confirm before anything is booked.

Do you actually make the booking?

Yes. Once you or your authorised representative confirms an option, we complete and confirm the agreed bookings and send the confirmations to you.

Do I approve the option before money is spent?

Always. You receive concise options with the total and key conditions. Nothing is purchased until the traveller or an authorised representative confirms the choice.

What does membership include — and is it unlimited?

Membership covers ongoing access to your travel assistant for standard travel requests within an approved scope: research, recommendations, booking after confirmation, trip preparation and support when plans change. It is not unlimited — fair-use and support boundaries are agreed clearly before you join, so there are no surprises on either side.

What happens when plans change during the trip?

You message the same thread. Your assistant handles changes, rebooking and updated details within the agreed membership scope, and keeps one current itinerary so you are never reconstructing the trip yourself.

Can you arrange transfers, drivers and check-in?

Yes — transfers and drivers subject to location and supplier availability, and online check-in support where airline rules permit. Some airlines and itineraries require the traveller to complete check-in personally.

What support is available when plans change?

Your support hours and response expectations are agreed before membership begins, so you know what assistance is available when plans change. If your travel requires a different level of coverage, we can discuss that during the consultation and determine whether standard or tailored membership is appropriate.

Does this replace my PA or EA?

No. BTA is designed to give your PA or EA a travel specialist to work with, not replace their role. They retain visibility, priorities and authority while BTA handles the agreed travel research, booking administration, coordination and changes.

How are passport, loyalty and payment details handled?

This website collects none of them. Payment-card details must never be sent through ordinary messaging. The exact handling process for booking-related details is documented and agreed before your membership begins.

Are third-party travel costs included in membership?

No. Membership covers access to the service. Flights, hotels, transfers, supplier fees and change or cancellation costs are separate and always confirmed with you before booking.

Can several travellers or high-use requirements be supported?

Yes, through a tailored membership — for several travellers, several authorised requesters, family-office requirements or unusually complex travel. It is scoped and priced following the consultation.

I have a few more questions. Can I speak to someone?

Yes. If you’d prefer to discuss your travel setup, what you would like BTA to take care of, or whether membership is the right fit, you can book a 20-minute consultation.
